  This is really the best collar to buy for your furry child. I have a Shiba Inu puppy and I was using a different collar when I first got her.
  
  Although it was a padded collar it made the hair around her neck either fall out or thin out so that she had a ring around her neck after taking the collar off.
  
  I switched to Spindrift's COMFORT COLLAR and that allowed the hair to grow back. She doesn't scratch at the collar as much and it's very well made!
  
  The padded collar is soft, yet very strong, and there's no sharp or pointy edges or seams to dig into the skin. The buckle opens and closes with ease and you can maneuver a keyring over it for holding i.d. tags.
  
  The "D" ring for the leash is attached really well, and there's a heavy duty elastic band that keeps the excess collar flushed with the rest of it. I didn't even notice that it was an elastic band at first because it just looks like an loop.
  
  No open seams or loose stitching.
  
  I'll be buying another one the next size up since she's growing fast and the XXS is almost going to be too small for her.
